OUT TO LUNCH BAND

featuring their unique “Groovadelic” sound

Out To Lunch began in the late 1970’s, with then thirteen year old

Paul Regan and Freddy Hutton hosted many Jam Sessions with friends, classmates, and anyone who shared the passion for the joy that live music brings. The band has taken many shapes over the years, living the mantra “A Band of Brothers Playing with Others.” The mission is always the same; create and share a joyful noise with all. Presently, Fred and Paul are joined by Eric Perry on drums, and Luis Carrillo on percussion, creating a funky rock sound with an underlying Latin groove that we like to call “Groovadelic.”

Marinera en el Mundo Florida is an organization based in Broward county whose main objective is to promote Peru’s culture, specially Peru’s national dance, the Marinera.

Marinera en el Mundo Florida will be featuring Somos USA Academia de Marinera, located in Sunrise FL.  The ages of the dancers range from 5 years of age to adults and they have been dancing together for about 8 months. Most of these children were born in the US and are keeping their peruvian roots alive by loving their culture.

MARIA VERDEJA SCHOOL OF THE ARTS
MVSA STUDIOS @ CORAL GABLES ARTS FEST!

MVSA has been serving the Coral Gables community for over 30 years. Maria Verdeja School of the Arts established by Maria Verdeja, a founding member of Miami City Ballet Company has provided dance training to students since 1987. MVSA dancers have performed at the Coral Gables Holiday Tree Lighting Festival and at the Coral Gables Museum and are looking forward to engaging with their community in new ways. Maria Verdeja School of the Arts has always believed that an important part of well-rounded performing arts education includes sharing our gifts with friends and neighbors.

MVSA STUDIOS will be bringing 4 crash course classes in some of our favorite dance styles to Miami Arts Fest. Each class will be preceded by a demonstration performed by students. An MVSA instructor will then teach a combination that kids and families can learn and perform together. No experience required!
